‘Do Good Twice’ by supporting local Sponsorship Groups in Rockville while sharing the mission to Remember, Honor, Teach
This event is held yearly in December. This year the event will be held on December 20, 2025 .Usually a ceremony is held at the at the Springdale Cemetery beginning at 10:00 a.m. on a Saturday, in December.
The Town of Rockville laying of the wreaths will begin after following Springdale’s ceremony at 11:30 am.
We will be placing wreaths on each Veteran buried in our Cemetery. Wreaths will also be placed on the front gate recognizing each service division.
We encourage everyone to come to the Rockville Cemetery to participate in the placing of the wreaths on our veterans graves.
About Wreaths Across America
Wreaths Across America is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded to continue and expand the annual wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery begun by Maine businessman Morrill Worcester in 1992. The organization’s mission – Remember, Honor, Teach – is carried out in part each year by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies in December at Arlington, as well as at thousands of veterans’ cemeteries and other locations in all 50 states and beyond.
To support the Rockville Cemetery, please go to www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/UTRVCC and sponsor a veteran’s wreath today!
